Soltan Achilova is a finalist of the international human rights award

According to “Chronicles of Turkmenistan”, journalist Soltan Achilova has reached the final of the International Martin Ennals Prize for Human Rights Defenders.

The award, known as the Nobel Prize for Human Rights Defenders, was established in 1993 and is awarded annually.

In addition to Soltan Achilova, Loujain Al Hathloul from Saudi Arabia and Yu Wensheng from China reached the final.

Achilova S. is the first representative of Turkmenistan to reach the final.
