Turkish media repo rt that a fire, allegedly caused by migrants held there, has been extinguished at Chankyry deportation center.
On July 4, at around 10:00 p.m., a fire broke out at Chankyry Deportation Center, located near the village of Suleymanli on Chankyry-Ankara highway. ...After the signal about the fire, numerous teams of firefighters and doctors, as well as police and gendarmerie, were sent to the scene. At the time of the fire, there were 1,206 people in the Center. 9 migrants affected by smoke received outpatient treatment.
Our source reports that recently 40 Turkmen citizens from Kayseri deportation center were transferred to this migrant resettlement center.
